My sister-in-law just got off the plane from San Diego to Taiwan. When she get home, she noticed missing item?
Some of her valuable items in the suitcase were missing.
is there a procedures to file for missing items?
It is believed that TSA may have been the root cause of all “evil”.
1) Never put valuables in checked bags.
2) File a claim with the airline
3) File a claim with your travel insurance company for reimbursement. They might only reimburse to a certain amount.
4) It isn’t necessarily TSA’s fault. There are plenty of other people who came into contact with the bag before it reached US shores.
